Hi, I’m Ricky Strickland. My wife Mary and I have been involved in missions to East Africa since 1986.  We were both teachers and we traveled for mission trips during our summers.  In 1996, we spent six months in Kenya living with a local family and work under their ministry. 
At that time, our children were very young, only five and two!

In 2007, we felt the Lord calling us to full time missions. We worked in Bungoma, Kenya until 2009 when began to work among the Pokot people. We began with only a tent living in the bush.  In 2013 we were able to drill a well and in 2015 we got to build a hut of our own.
